You might be wondering, "how good is Newcastle for international transportation links?" or "am I eligible for free treatment on the NHS as a foreign resident in the UK?". Whatever your question, you're sure to get the best help possible in our community.
Newcastle in 2015 is a town of many identities — like many former industrial towns in the UK, recent years have seen extensive regeneration, with coal pits being replaced by restaurants and boutiques. The town now has a reputation for wild nightlife, thanks to the extensive student population and of course the famous Geordie Shore, but there are plenty of quieter and more cerebral pursuits in its museums and art galleries too, such as the Tate Modern-rivaling Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts. With an added reputation as being the friendliest city in England, there are plenty of reasons enticing people from across the globe to Tyneside.
Our members on InterNations all go through a careful approval process, guaranteeing you the best experience possible when interacting with the community. Once you've joined InterNations and had any questions you might have answered by our members, you can also look into taking things a step further by coming to events in the city. These are a great opportunity to network and make new friends and business contacts from a wide range of countries and cultures. You can also join the Newcastle Social Dining Group for some evenings of enjoying fine cuisine, or start your own group for your favorite hobby or interest.
